SUMMARY:
The project consists of remodeling a former 5 theater movie theater that is 17,221 SF. The main floor will be used for religious worship, The 2,313 SF 2nd Floor space will be used as storage.
The chapel was completed by combining two theaters into one. In order to remove the wall between the theaters a large 39" deep steel beam with 15.8" wide flanges that had to be installed to span the entire chapel. The only way to install this massive beam was through the roof.
4' x 4' Geofoam (styrofoam) blocks were used on the existing sloped movie theater floor to make it a flat level floor. One movie theater was remodeled into a large classroom. The other two theaters were remodeled into several classrooms for all different ages
